Help & Docs

Everything you need to set up Glimbo, learn the commands, and run it on your server. New here? Add Glimbo and run /daily to mint your first card.

Getting started

Glimbo turns your Discord server’s members, moments, and memes into collectible cards you can pull, trade, and clash. There’s nothing to download — it all runs as a Discord bot, with an optional web app for browsing your collection.

  1. Add Glimbo to your server.
  2. Run /setupcheck to confirm permissions.
  3. Run /daily and /pull to mint your first cards.

Installing Glimbo

Adding Glimbo takes about a minute. You’ll need the Manage Server permission on the server you want to add it to.

  • Open the install page and pick your server.
  • Approve the requested permissions on Discord’s screen.
  • Back in Discord, run /setupcheck to make sure Glimbo can post and read in the channels you want.

Basic commands

Glimbo is driven by slash commands — type / in any channel where it’s installed to see them. Here’s the full public command set:

Generating cards

Use /pull to generate a brand-new card. Each card is uniquely created by AI based on your server, so no two are exactly alike — and that’s why generations have limits (see pricing).

  • /daily gives you a free pull (and bonus claims) each day.
  • Cards roll a rarity — common through legendary — plus stats used in Card Clash.
  • Your likeness and message lore are opt-in only — control them with /settings. See our Privacy Policy.

Packs & credits

Need more pulls than your free daily allowance and earned Unpack Tickets? Buy Glimbo Credits for generation, or upgrade your server with Server Plus.

  • Run /buy-credits in Discord to buy Glimbo Credits, or /serverplus to upgrade your server.
  • Compare plans and packs on the pricing page.
  • Credits are for generation only — consumed when used, not tradable, and not usable for market purchases. Glimbux is earned in-game and has no cash value — see our Refund Policy.

Clashing

Card Clash pits your cards against another collector’s using their stats, rarity, and a little chaos.

  • Start a battle with /clash.
  • Track your record with /clashstats and climb /clashlb.
  • Admins tune the rules with /clashsettings.

Inventory & profile

Everything you own lives in your inventory and shows off on your profile.

  • /inventory lists your cards, cosmetics, and items.
  • /collection browses just your cards; /card inspects one.
  • /profile shows your equipped frames and flair. Link the web app with /login to browse it in the browser.

Server admin controls

Server admins have controls to keep things tidy and fair.

  • /setupcheck — verify Glimbo’s permissions and channel access.
  • /serverperms — choose which roles can use which commands.
  • /clashsettings — configure Card Clash for your community.
  • The web Setup dashboard — plan, ⚡ Server Energy, and feature toggles in one place.

Feature toggles (all off by default — safe defaults)

  • Chat replies — Glimbo only answers commands until you turn free-text chat replies on. Enable it in the Setup dashboard if you want Glimbo chatting in your channels.
  • Daily Server Card — an automatic daily card drop in a channel you pick. Off until you choose a channel and enable it.
  • Likeness art — even with the server flag on, a member’s face is only ever used after that member personally opts in via /settings.

Billing & pricing FAQ

Is Glimbo free?

Yes — Glimbo is free to add, with a daily generation allowance. Upgrades and credit packs add more. See pricing.

How do I buy Credits or upgrade?

Run /buy-credits or /serverplus in Discord, or check the pricing page. Purchases are handled securely through Discord. Glimbux can't be bought — it's earned in-game.

Can I get a refund?

Digital goods are generally final once delivered, but we’ll make billing errors right. See our Refund Policy or contact support.

Safety & moderation FAQ

Is my likeness used without permission?

No. Using your avatar as art reference and your messages as lore are both off by default and opt-in via /settings. Output is always stylized, never photorealistic. See the Privacy Policy.

How do I report a card or user?

Use /report in Discord, or reach out via support. Admins can restrict commands with /serverperms.

What are the rules?

See our Terms of Service for acceptable use.
